I have recently had the pleasure of trying a royal line of lip wear, literally… Lipstick Queen has mastered the art of the perfect lipstick, as well as a variety of glosses, pencils, and everything else your lips could desire. Her majesty’s textures come sheer to opaque, matte to high shine. Poppy King, the creator of the line, has given her lipsticks two definitions based on Saint (sheers) and Sinner (opaques). Too cute!
I adore this line for the the rich, non-sticky feel. My lips are conditioned and luxurious when I wear it, almost like I have on a super rich balm, not your typical lip-shade. Love it!

If you are like me, a change of season calls for a change of hair color. Example, I tend to go a bit darker in the cooler months and brighten up as it warms up. But you shouldn’t just change your hair color, you should also keep your lip color in mind as well. Here are a few tips.
Brunettes : Sheer colors, nudes, and plum tones work best with darker hair.
Blondes: Fair haired beauties always look great in pastels (don’t forget a little bronzer ), pinks, and punchy reds.
Red: Lips stains are a nice subdued choice next to the vibrant hair color, as well as subtle peach tones, and rosy lip shades.

Spring is officially here ,which means, fresh makeup colors are in the air! I always love a season change, because I get to play around with the latest color trends in makeup. One thing we can always count on with spring is a “fresh face” look, which is usually refreshing after bold lips and a harsher eye for a typical winter trend.
This spring is all about feeling peachy. Gorgeous, apricot, coral, and peach shades are filling up the cosmetic booths for both lip and cheek colors. Thankfully these pops of color can be worn on all skin shades. Simply follow one simple rule, the lighter your skin color is, choose the lightest shade of peach, and the deeper your skin tone goes, go deeper with the coral or apricot tone. If you can’t find the right shade in one brand, keep browsing, eventually you’ll find a perfect peachy pop for your cheeks and pout.
Now, get out there and give yourself and your makeup collection an instant update with these spring shades. And who wouldn’t want to look and feel warmer and brighter these days?
